SSC CGL Syllabus 2018: Tier 3

  • The SSC CGL Tier III is a descriptive examination to test the written skills of the candidates in English/ Hindi.
  • The Mode of the Examination is Offline.
  • The students have to write essays, Precise, application letter etc. in the Exam.
  • The Exam carries 100 marks and the time allotted with a total time 60 Minutes and for Physically Handicapped Students, 80 Minutes is allotted.
  • The Tier-III Paper is only for the “Statistical Investigator Grade II” and “Compiler”.

SSC CGL Syllabus 2018: Tier 4

  • DEST (Data Entry Speed Test):  This Test is for the post of Tax Assistant (Central Excise and Income Tax). This Exam is used to test the Typing Skills/ Speed of the candidate. Candidates will be given an article in English which they have to type on the Computer. The Candidate has to type 2000 Words in 15 Minutes.
  • CPT (Computer Proficiency Test): The three most important modules of this Examination are: Word Processing, Spread Sheets, and Generation of Slides. The Exam is conducted for the CSS, MEA, Inspector (Central Exercise), Inspector (Preventive Officer), Inspector (Examiner
