The Mizoram Public Service Commission is otherwise called as MPSC. This is a body created by the Constitution of India to select the applicants for various civil jobs in the Indian State of Gujarat. The selection of the candidates will be on the basis of the merits of the applicants and rules and regulations of reservation. The Mizoram Public Service Commission was formed in the year 1960. As per the records, the Mizoram Public Service Commission (MPSC) recruits and holds several competitive exams and recruitment tests for the engagement on various Civil Services and Administrative Services in Mizoram State.

Eligibility Criteria For Mizoram PSC Recruitment 2018

Age- Limit and Nationality

  • The minimum age of the candidate must be 21 years and the maximum age of the candidate must be 30 years as on 1st Jan 2018.

  • Age-Relaxations will be applicable on the Reserved Category candidates as per the Government Norms.


  • The Candidate/ Application must hold Indian Citizenship.

  • Candidate must hold a Degree from a recognized University.

Selection/ Recruitment Procedure For Mizoram PSC Recruitment 2018

  • Candidates will be selected on the basis of the Written Examination followed by an Interview and Screening Test.

  • There will be a Preliminary Test and Mains Examination followed by an Interview.

Examination Pattern For Mizoram PSC Recruitment 2018

The Examination Pattern of MPSC are as follows:

  • Preliminary Examination

  • Main Examination

  • Personality Test

The Preliminary Examination is Objective Type Questions 

The Preliminary Examination will be Objective Type. It will consists of two papers- Paper-I and Paper-II of 200 marks each. The Part I will comprise of Objective Based Questions and the Part-II (Mains) consists of Conventional Type Questions.

The Shortlisted candidates will be called for Main Examination. The Main Examination will comprise of Seven Papers which carries 200 marks each. Selected candidates in Main Examinations will called for an Interview Test. The Interview Round will carry 150 marks.
