KCET Eligibility Criteria 2020

By knowing the eligibility criteria of KCET 2020 you will get an idea whether you are capable or not capable to apply for the exam. Students can check the eligibility criteria of KCET exam in the following points.

Nationality – You must be a citizen of India.

Appearing Aspirants – Such students are eligible to apply for the exam. But their admission will be canceled if they failed in the qualifying exam.

For Engineering – Must pass 12th/2nd PUC with English as one of the language subjects and obtaining 45% aggregate marks in Physics & Mathematics along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Electronics/Computer (40% for reserved category candidates).

For Medical – Must pass 12th/2nd PUC with English as one of the language subjects and obtaining 50% aggregate marks in PCB (40% for reserved category candidates).

B. Arch – Must pass 12th/2nd PUC with Mathematics as one of the compulsory optional subjects and obtaining 50% aggregate marks in all subjects (45% for reserved category candidates).

For B.Pharma – Must pass in 2nd PUC/12th with PCB or PCM and obtained a minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology subjects (40% for reserved category candidates) or Passed in Diploma in Pharmacy from an institution approved by PCI and secured minimum of 45% marks (40% for category candidates).

For B.V.Sc and A.H – Must pass 12th/2nd PUC with obtaining 50% aggregate marks in PCB & English (40% for reserved category candidates).

KCET 2020 Application Form

KEA will release an online form of KCET in the ist week of February 2020. You have to visit the official website to apply for the exam. We will update here a direct link to apply for the exam. In the application form, you will be asked to enter basic details like Candidate’s Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Address, Valid Email id, Mobile number, etc. Students must provide all information as per certificate records. You will also ask to upload required documents in the prescribed format.  Applicants must carefully enter their details in the KCET 2020 Application form as once the form is submitted; they won’t get the opportunity to rectify their mistakes.

Required Documents in the KCET 2020 Application Form

Candidates will require the following list of documents while filling the online form of KCET exam.

  • Valid email ID and mobile number of the student.
  • Scanned images of photograph, signature and left-hand thumb impression of the student in prescribed format and dimension.
  • Scanned image of the signature/left thumb impression of the candidate’s parents.
  • Aadhaar Card details.
  • Credit/debit card, net banking details for application fee payment process.

Steps to Fill KCET 2020 Application Form

  • Go to the official website of KCET 2020.
  • Click on the link “New User? Click Here to Register”.
  • Read the instructions and click on the “KCET 2020 Registration” button.
  • Enter all the details asked in the registration form.
  • Click on the Submit button.
  • Login credential will be sent to the email id or mobile number which you provide in the registration form.
  • Login again to complete the KCET application form 2020.
  • Enter your personal, examination, communication and other required details in the application form.
  • Upload the scanned images of photograph, candidate’s signature and thumb impression and parent signature in the prescribed format.
  • Accept the declaration and click on the “Submit” button.
  • Pay the application fee through generated e-challan or DD (as applicable).
  • After the successful fee payment, take a printout of the application for further use.

KCET 2020 Admit Card

Admit Card is the most important identity proof for the aspirants. No student will be allowed to appear in the exam without KCET 2020 Hall Ticket. Karnataka Examination Authority will release KCET Admit Card in the month of April 2020. It will release in online mode. Admit Card will be issued only to those candidates who successfully fill Application Form of KCET 2020 along with fee payment. The conducting authorities will not send admit card separately to any candidate via post, mail or any other medium. You will require to visit the official website to download your hall ticket.
