Jammu & Kashmir CET Answer Key 2019

Board of Professional Entrance Examination (BOPEE) will release the official and provisional JKCET Answer Key 2019 on its official website. The candidates who appear in the examination will be able to visit the official website and download their JKCET Answer Key 2019. On this provisional answer key, the candidate can raise their doubts. The Board will consider the doubts and then release Final JKCET Answer Key 2019 on its official website. You cannot raise doubts on the final answer key. Download the Answer key and calculate marks roughly. Though, final marks released by the JKCET will be considered as final.

Calculation of Marks

To finalize your raw scores, check the final answer key. Find how many answers are correct and how many are incorrect. Then apply the formula mentioned below.

(1 X a) – (0.25 X b) = Total Score. 

J&K Common Entrance Test Result 2019

Jammu and Kashmir CET exam will be conducted on 28th April 2019. The JKCET Result 2019 of the same will release on 22nd May 2019. The candidates who appear in the examination, can visit the official website and download JKCET 2019 Result and Scorecard. The Scorecard will mention their scores, qualifying status and final percentage scored by the candidates. Only the candidates who successfully qualify the examination will appear for JKCET Counselling 2019.

JKCET Cut off 2019

The admission authority of the examination will release the cut-off of JKCET 2019 after the declaration of the result. On the basis of marks secured in the examination, JKCET 2019 merit list will be prepared through which the admissions to the candidates will be offered. Candidates will have to secure at least minimum marks to get admission into various B.Tech degree programmes offered by the list of participating institutes of JKCET 2019 in the state of Jammu & Kashmir.

JKCET 2019 Merit List

The admission authority of the examination will prepare the JKCET 2019 merit list on the basis of inter-se merit of the candidates in the entrance examination. The merit list of JKCET 2019 will be category specific. Candidates wishing to take admission through the examination will need to secure at least minimum qualifying marks in the entrance examination to get admission in the participating colleges as prescribed for different categories under Jammu & Kashmir Reservation rules.

Tie- Breaking Procedure for JKCET 2019 Merit List

If the merit of two or more candidates is same, then inter-se-merit will be taken into consideration for offering admission to the candidates. The criteria are mentioned below:

Case 1: Candidates who secured higher marks in Mathematics will be considered.

If the tie still prevails, then

Case 2: Candidates who secured higher marks in Physics will be considered.

If the tie still prevails, then

Case 3: Candidates who are older in age will be given the preference.

Jammu & Kashmir Common Entrance Test Counselling Process 2019

On the basis of the merit list of JKCET prepared by the admission authority, candidates will be invited to attend the counselling in an offline mode. Candidate must be physically present at the counselling venue for the document verification and seat allotment process. Candidates are advised to carry original and photocopies of all the relevant documents for the process of document verification, without which candidates will not be offered the seat. The qualified candidates will be able to choose their preferred college and course at the time of counselling.

JKCET Application Form 2019

Jammu & Kashmir CET Application Forms were released in the month of January. From 1st January 2019 to 23rd March 2019 applications were submitted. The candidates who applied in the examination verified that they are eligible for the examination. Only eligible candidates who fulfilled eligibility criteria like Age Limit, Domicile, Educational Qualification were able to fill the application forms. Now, soon the admit cards will release and could be downloaded from the official website.
