Eligibility Criteria

Selection Procedure

Nausena Bharti- Eligibility Criteria 2018

The aspirant must fulfill the eligibility criteria as proposed by the Government of India. The candidate should check the below-mentioned details of the conditions by Govt. Of India for the application procedure for Nausena Bharti 2018.

Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian National if he/she is applying for the Indian Navy.

Marital Status: The candidate must be unmarried and must remain so until the end of the training period. If a candidate is found to be married or if he/ she marries in between training period, they will be discharged and shall be liable to refund full pay and allowances drawn by them and other expenditure incurred on the candidate by the government.

Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed Engineering Degree or in the final year of Engineering Course in any discipline from AICTE Recognised university with at least 60% marks till the previously completed year. Candidates appearing for ATC post must have completed 10th and 12th with 60% marks to be minimum. Minimum Marks required in English subject in 12th Class is 60% too. The candidate is required to finish the degree course with the minimum of 60% marks. IF not so then they will not be allowed to enroll for INA Ezhimala.

The application form of Indian Navy Recruitment can be submitted in offline mode. Candidates have to take printout of the application format on a clean and white A4 paper sheet. Documents Required For Indian Navy Recruitment

Applicants have to attach the following documents with a strong thread to the application in the sequence as given below:

  • Applicants should fill the application form in capital letters and paste one recent Passport size photograph at the top right corner and one spare recent Passport size photos with the candidate’s name written on the reverse attached along with the form (If any applicant will not attach recent photograph then such candidate will not be allowed to appear in the examination).
  • Applicants has to enclose self attested copy of the following certificates:
  1. Matric /equivalent certificate for verification of date of birth.
  2. Mark sheet and certificate of Diploma/Higher Board examination/ Matriculation as applicable.
  3. Domicile certificate
  4. Two self-addressed envelopes of size 22 x 10 cms with Rs 10/- stamp affixed on one envelope and one envelope without stamp is to be submitted along with the application form. (White colour envelop for AA entry and brown colour for SSR/MR/NMR entry). On top of the envelope containing the application the Type of Entry, name of State, Percentage in exam and name of Exam passed is to be clearly written.

The applicant has to visit the website to download their admit card for test. The admit card is an important document for all the applicant for appearing in the test. The procedure to download the admit card is given below.

  • Visit the above-mentioned website of Indian Navy.

  • At the login page, enter User Name, Password and Captcha. Click on ‘login’ button to open your profile.

  • Find the link to download the admit card.

  • Click on the ‘Continue’ button to proceed to the next window.

  • The admit card will reflect on the screen in PDF format.

  • Verify the details given on the admit card very carefully.

  • Take print out of it and keep it safe for further use.

The applicant should check the information given on the admit card very carefully. The admit card will carry the information based on the details filled at the time of filling the application form. The applicant will find the information given below in the admit card.

  • Name of the post for which applied.

  • Venue of the test.

  • Reporting time at the venue.

  • Name of the applicant.

  • Father’s name of the applicant.

  • Mother’s name of the applicant.

  • Correspondance address of the applicant.

  • Date of Birth of the applicant.

  • Marital Status of the applicant.

  • Matric Roll Number and Educational Details.

  • Photo of the applicant.

  • Space to paste the same photo which will be uploaded during registration.

Physical/Medical Standards

Applicants who will apply for Indian Navy Recruitment must satisfy the Physical/Medical Standards. A candidate who fails to meet the requirement will be disqualified from the recruitment process. The Physical/Medical Standards are given below:

For Officer: Height – A candidate of 18 years age should have height of 157 cm for male and 152 cm in case of female candidate.

Anthropometric Measurement – The accepted standard for the SSC entry for male is Minimum height – 162.5 cm. Sitting height – Minimum 81.5 cm & Maximum 96.0 cm. Thigh Length Maximum 64.0 cm. Height, Weight Standard (Male). Leg Length – Minimum 99.0 cm & Maximum 120.0 cm.

Merit List For Indian Navy Recruitment

After the few days of examination, Merit List will be published on the website of Indian Navy. Applicants whose names will be in the Merit List shall have to report at the given place according to the mentioned date and time. Applicants who will not appear at the decided place on the given date and time shall not ne provided another chance to appear for that event.
